Accused Memphis Rampager Misunderstood?

And yet, we now see Memphis police arresting 19-yr-old Ezekiel Kelly who’s “suspected” of shooting & killing 4 people & injuring at least 3 more as but only after being accused of 2 carjackings as he tried to flee from police. The rampage, according to Fox, not only spread across at least 7 different crime scenes but ended only after Kelly crashed “his” stolen car. Much of it was livestreamed on Facebook.

Memphis Mayor Jim Strickland said during a presser that Kelly had been charged with attempted first-degree murder in an April 2021 incident but pled guilty to a downgraded aggravated assault charge. Kelly had been sentenced to 3 years in prison, but was released in March 2022 after serving only 11 months of that sentence. Less than 6 months later …
