Allen’s Biden Joke A 60 Minute Laugh?

As always these days, Fox News noted the thumbs down and thumbs up were divided along political lines. Those critical of the 69-yr-old alum of “Home Improvement, a conservative, posted comments like “disrespectful,” and coming from a “washed up” star. Meanwhile, Allen fans couldn’t help note the irony in similar jokes made at Trump’s expense when POTUS. Said one amused commentor: “Really? Twitter is trying to cancel sitcom dad, Tim Allen, for telling a dad joke? Buttery soft …”

Dunno whether Twitter had any hand in this other than to give vent to users reactions. But, some cheap shot artists apparently saw reason to draw attention to Allen’s recent removal as the voice of “Buzz Light Year” while co-star Tom Hanks, a liberal, is still on board. Even nastier, some dug up Allen’s 1978 arrest for drug trafficking at the Kalamazoo International (Huh? International?) Airport in Michigan for which he served 2 ½ years in prison; he explained in a recent interview he had been “effed up” at the time. Having been sober since and carving out a LONG career filled with MANY accomplishments, it’s not hard to see how many others, including other “washed up” Hollywood celebs, would envy him and HIS right to make political commentary just as THEY so often burden us with. Enough already? But, again, not before somebody please answers Joe’s question for me?
