Anchorman Biden Musk Tank Economy et al?

Elon Musk said No. 46 is like Ron Burgundy in Anchorman who can’t mouth 2 words without dummy cards & warns his printing money & ignoring inflation’s “obvious” danger could make US “end up like Venezuela.”

As Fox News reported Mr. Musk’s recent podcast appearance & suggestion “Biden is something of an empty suit”: “The real president is whoever controls the teleprompter … I do feel like if somebody were to accidentally lean on [Biden’s] teleprompter, it’s going to be like Anchorman” in the 2004 film, “in which Ron Burgundy reads whatever is written on the teleprompter, even if it would ruin his career.”

As for Biden’s handling of our economy: “I mean, the obvious reason for inflation is that the government printed a zillion amount of more money than it had …” referring to GOP claims Biden’s American Rescue Plan and Covid-19 stimulus bills contributed greatly, if not primarily, to the “near 40-yr-high inflation the US experienced in April.” Then, again: “If the govt could just issue massive amounts of money & deficits didn’t matter, then, well, why don’t we just make the deficit 100 times bigger? The answer is, you can’t because it will basically turn the dollar into something that is worthless.” Even Ron Burgundy would not disagree with that take. Yet, Joe Biden would?
