Andrew Yang Yelps Independent Tune, Kisses Dems Off

Andrew Yang won’t yell at the Loony Left, but insisted he’s “doin’ the right thing” by kissing his life long” buddy Dems goodbye & will sell self as a life long “Independent” who leads a new "Forward" Party.

The supposed “tell it like it is” ex-presidential candidate first described his “official” departure from the DNC in a post as a “strangely emotional experience.” That much can be believed. Yang, a self-proclaimed idea man, rambled on about how he registered with the party as a 20-yr-old enamored (for some reason) with President Clinton’s reelection bid against ex-Sen. & war hero Bob Dole. We learn in a Fox article he went on to loyally vote for John Kerry “raising $3K at a bar” for him & “thrilled” when Barack Obama got elected. In 2016 “I donated to Bernie Sanders’ campaign because “everything he struck me as true” but then voted for Hillary Clinton rather than Trump because he saw the future No. 45 “as a red flag & call to action.” Get that? Capitalist Trump was a red flag, but Moscow Honeymooner Bernie was not? Not a peep about Sanders’ & Biden’s radical socialist agenda they are trying to ram through Congress. Just some reference to a “shift in his mindset” & ability to “be even more honest” about the “polarized” system “and the people in it.” The next day, he announced the start of a new & supposedly polarizing free Forward Party with the same kind of background elevator speech.

Maybe Mr. Yang’s obtuseness in floating one impractical scheme after another is what got him creamed in the 2020 Dem primaries & New York mayoral race afterward? But, might the supposedly bolting Dem be headed to even fewer votes in the future as unaffiliated “Independents” still take to his reconstituted brand of political opportunism like oil & water?
