Are Tesla’s Cars Spying On China For A Dang Change?

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. The WSJ recently reported “China to Restrict Tesla Use by Military & State Employees” because the Communist Party fears the American cars “could be a source of national security leaks”. In other words, the Commies are afraid WE are using the hi-tech vehicles to spy on THEM.

Specifically, Chinese officials suspect the Tesla “vehicles are being used as well as the contact lists of mobile phones synced to them. Beijing is concerned some data could then be sent back to the U.S.”

There’s another old saying: “It takes one to know one.” Indeed, we’re told “Chinese leader Xi Jinping has increasingly moved the country away from foreign technology as its technological fight with the U.S. intensifies.” So what if we are? Let’s not forget how Washington under the Trump Administration imposed restrictions on communications equipment made by Chinese companies like Huawei Technologies, which have been labeled a national security threat over suspicions it’s spying for Beijing. Mr. Xi, how do you like dem apples for a change?
