Arnold, Soros & Ted Spread $ & Grief

Unhappy rich always find ways to share their woe AND harm (as well as good) they can do. Ted Turner now says he’s “appalled” by goofy CNN he founded, Soros can’t stop spreading social injustice & Schwarzenegger tells God to “F***” off. Yes, it’s hard to read this crap in MSM.

Forget Soros. He’s irredeemable. In Arnold’s case, the ex-Catholic told Interview Magazine the “sad part” is that “heaven … is some fantasy” and dares the faithful to prove there is a God AS IF HE CAN DISPROVE THE ALMIGHTY’s EXISTENCE. At least, the California governor turned “FUBAR” star conceded he’s not an “expert … on spiritual stuff” (no kidding) before concluding he still DOES ascribe to one part of his Catholic upbringing “that is relevant today … [i.e.,] … A servant’s heart … means serving something larger than yourself.” Perhaps, then, the real “sad part” is that this gifted & PRIVILEGED human being is ungrateful to the possibility he owes his very breath (if not got rocks life style) to a very real Supreme Being.

The Fox News coverage of this trio of celebs makes me recall a 1985 article I wrote for the Highland Park News titled, “Making money isn’t everything,” as related to me by Mr. Turner. The interview took place in a dinky Chicago suburban newsroom after the then-up-and-coming mogul had “parlayed the family outdoor sign company into a multi-million-dollar conglomerate of television stations, news networks & sports franchises.” Without Jane Fonda to drive him nuts, Ted was earnest. He wanted to “personally lead a worldwide crusade against a host of global problems, including nuclear arms proliferation.” It wasn’t just altruism by the “ultimate capitalist.” Turner conceded, “the more charitable work I do, the more money I make.” Yet, although as Schwarzenegger now says, “we all end up 6 feet under,” Turner also reminded: “It’s capitalist profits that make it possible for humanitarians [like me] to carry out their work.” For bad as well as good, Ted?
