Atlanta Burns Again As Anger Decoded
Can’t make this up. Mom of slain forest defender insists her pacifist son “wouldn’t kill an animal” yet says “if he had [a gun] it was to protect himself from animals in the forest,” but never shoot at wounded Atlanta cop first. Huh?
Then, again, this is CNN doing the reporting about the events in Georgia’s biggest city leading up to another “peaceful protest” that turned violent. We’re told police were trying to clear 25 campsites filled with protesters for several months attempting to block the construction of a new police training facility. Presumably, the new training center was part of the city’s efforts to REFORM the way its police engage with the public in the wake of the “2020 police brutality & racial injustice protests”. But, as CNN suggests, the protesters weren’t buying it & claim the $30 million facility is more about police power than reform; besides, it’s going to hurt the environment by cutting down a “chunk of forested land.”
Still with this story so far? No doubt the slain “turtle loving” activist was a “sweet soul” as his grieving mother said from her home in Panama City. “He was attacked,” she told CNN. Yet, police claimed they were returning his fire & “a handgun recovered from the deceased’s possession matched the projectile from the trooper’s wound.” Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens labeled the anti-police riots that followed “domestic terrorism” by at least 7 individuals arrested & after authorities recovered “mortar style fireworks, multiple edged weapons, pellet rifles, gas masks & a blow torch.” MSM cameras caught a police car on fire & several businesses with smashed windows. Do we need Brad Meltzer to "Decode" this story?
