Avoidable Evil Visits Affluent Burb?

Had it yet with woke kid gloves approach to the violent mentally insane? Buffalo Grove Illinois police say evidence points to murder-suicide by dad un-detoured by “protective orders”? 3 adults, 2 kids, dog dead.

For 10 years I lived next to this affluent Chicago suburb & am sickened by latest “domestic-related incident” that coulda, woulda, shoulda been seen coming. Police now say estranged 39-yr-old Andrei Kisliak apparently killed his family, including a 4- & 6-year-old, in their home with “sharp force injuries.” His wife, 36-yr-old Vera, had filed for divorced in July & was frightened enough by her husband that she got protective orders in subsequent months. They obviously proved to be inadequate in keeping the man from going beserk. Police did not respond to rumors reported by Fox News that they had been called by increasingly worried neighbors to the Kisliak home in the past month. Yet, the Chicago Sun-Times quoted a nearby resident that she had called police in August over the way Mr. Kisliak treated the children.

Police say their “investigation” is still ongoing. But, it doesn’t much matter now, does it? Where or where were the state’s child protection officers? Or, the county mental health agencies?
