Barr None, Joe Won’t Blow Cartels Down

Bill Barr’s proposal to kill the “head of the snake” aka Mexican cartels suggests it’s only way to stop their flooding US with drugs killing thousands & costing trillions in wealth & well-being. But, ask Joe to wake up?

As the former AG wrote in a recent WSJ op ed, “the narco-terrorists are more like ISIS than the American mafia.” That being the reality, he argues, “The time is long past to deal with this outrage decisively. Reps. Dan Crenshaw & Michael Waltz have proposed a joint resolution giving the president authority to use the U.S. military against these cartels in Mexico. This is a necessary step & puts the focus where it must be.”

Mr. Barr is right in saying “under international law, a government has the duty to ensure that lawless groups don’t use its territory to carry out predations against its neighbors If a government is unwilling or unable to do so [as is the case today in Mexico], then the country being harmed has the right to take direct action to eliminate the threat, with or without the host country’s approval.” But, does anyone honestly believe President Biden would use our military in Mexico when he won’t give the US Border Patrol the tools needed to stop the illegal immigrant invasion backed by the cartels’ human traffickers?
