The Czech Republic’s populist but brusque PM, Andrej Babis, barely lost re-election thanks, the WSJ says, to anti-establishment rhetoric that rebounded on his head once he was the establishment & little changed. An angry Joe Biden, who is taking withering heat for one “Build Better” policy fiasco after another, would do well to remember it’s easier to criticize those in power from the cheap seats.

Yet, an endless string of confrontations with any & all critics eventually took its toll with Independent voters who usually swing a presidential election. Competence is nice, but nice is part of competence in the public arena.

The Scranton Scrapper tirelessly if disingenuously criticized No. 45’s job performance & lack of a “plan” for the world’s woes from his home bunker, but is finding out in the WH mansion how No. 46’s endless missteps from behind the wheel are revealing he had no plan of his own after all while he turns his backside to even allies in the MSM. At the current rate, even Barack Obama might not vote for his re-election in 2024.
