Can you stop laughing at the media reports breathlessly reminding us Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos still works at the “door desk” he labored over when founding the company? How many homes worth $570 MILLION does Big B live in?

Forget the $500 million 417 ft Yacht Koru YachtWorld says Bezos took delivery of back in April, 2023. According to a recent social media post by his fiancée, the real news is about Jeff’s undying love of that homemade door desk he created in the early days of Amazon & has since become a symbol of Amazon’s culture. Meanwhile, New York Post, Fox Business, Yahoo News & Hindustan Times reports that Mr. Humble personified wasn’t satisfied now being the world’s third-richest man, with a staggering net worth of $167 billion & more homes in Seattle & Hawaii than you can throw a homeless person at. No. The billionaire has headed “to the Sunshine State of Florida, where he’s made recent headlines for purchasing multiple mansions.”

There’s plenty of slobbering details in these media reports over the luxurious new digs this guy’s amassed in yet another fun in the sun destination. Does that sound like old-fashioned sour grapes jealousy? It should. And, is. It’s admittedly all the more aggravating since, thanks to those reports awash with illustrative pictures, it’s impossible to get the images of Bezos at his homemade door desk working oh, so hard, at making another billion or two.
