The Washington Examiner notes the announcement of Jeremy Bash’s good fortune was supposed to be low-key, i.e., until the newspaper “flagged” it for other MSM reporters to get their head out of the WH sandwich bar & take notice. Fox News took it from there to recall how “Bash is a former CIA chief of staff” who, in addition to his current role as an MSNBC analyst, signed the October 2020 letter along with 50 other so-called intelligence experts that “attempted to downplay” the Hunter laptop scandal before election day … even though the letter itself conceded the signees did “not know if the emails … are genuine.” That letter “caught on like wildfire online, with several members of the Biden Administration amplifying it ... Joe Biden himself even worked to discredit reports swirling about his son’s laptop.” Meanwhile, Bash also dismissed the laptop as Russian disinformation on several MSNBC programs, including “The Rachel Maddow Show.”

BTW: The authenticity of Hunter’s laptop has since been verified by the foot-dragging FBI and belatedly by “numerous” news organizations. Wonder why the Swamp is getting as disrespected as MSM by average Joes & Janes as Joe appoints political operatives to help him (mis)manage? “Yo, WH press corps, any beer to wash the sandwiches down”?
