Biden Battles Covid As Symptoms Grow

Vaccinated Biden gets COVID after promising 2 yrs ago to “shut it down” & fights it with recently approved Plaxovid as symptoms "getting better" yet multiply. So, do we still need reminder to get all stricken ELDERS help asap, then, closely watch 'em?

As USA Today suggested, what a difference two presidencies make. That is, both Trump & Biden now got Covid and both were treated with monoclonal antibodies. Yet, No. 45 was helped by then-experimental Remdesivir & No. 46 has the benefit of FDA-approved Plaxovid. Thank God for the development of such virus-fighting drugs as we now realize, as we should have known from the get go, that the vaccines would only go so far in blocking infection and limiting hospitalizations.

Yet, while the docs keep saying Mr. Biden’s prognosis keeps getting better as did Mr. Trump’s physicians, they also conceded over the weekend that he’s developed “new symptoms,” including sore throat & body aches. Does it also bear repeating, then, that Covid & other viruses can make elders especially susceptible to turns and deserve as well as need special care?
