Biden Gets Hang Of Surging Gas Prices By Hanging US
The WSJ’s “OPEC, Biden & Gas Prices” concludes that POTUS “wants the cartel to pump more oil, but the U.S. to pump less.”
Huh? As the paper’s editorial board noted, “as cognitive dissonance goes, this is a classic.” In short, “President Biden’s explicit policy goal is to reduce U.S. oil & gas production, limiting the global supply of fossil fuels in the name of fighting climate change. Yet, his Administration is now imploring the OPEC oil cartel to pump more oil so U.S. gasoline prices don’t rise more than they already have on Mr. Biden’s watch.”
Without invoking the WSJ to make any sense out of Mr. Biden’s latest oil spill, I will do the ask: Is there any logic to Mr. Biden’s oil “strategy”? How could it ever be good for national security let alone the economy? That is, unless he has another ingenious “plan”, this time, it’s to let the Arab nations run out of oil so the U.S. can achieve a global monopoly over the industry it is going to abandon in favor of solar energy by 2030, if not sooner, dang nabbit!
