Biden’s DPA Baby Formula Trumps His BS?

So the un-Trump Biden invokes Defense Production Act to solve baby formula shortage his policies created? More vintage Joe blowing smoke since he & lib policy wonks only know how to make our problems worse?

WSJ notes “the administration is also authorizing flights to import baby formula from overseas.” Huh? THAT is all they got? WHY, the editors recently asked, does existing fed policy DISCOURAGE IF NOT BLOCK such imports in the first place? In a separate article titled, “Baby-Formula Shortage Hits Aid-Dependent Shortage Hits Aid-Dependent Families,” the newspaper also notes how “families RELIANT ON MULTIBILLION-DOLLAR FEDERAL PROGRAM say they have few alternatives as supplies of approved formulas run out.” Meanwhile, earlier coverage documents how the FDA & CDC have been screwing around with the leading formula maker over “suspected” product contamination that proved bogus & subsequent feet-dragging red tape hurting the restart up of the production line.

And, so it goes, Joe jumps us from one frying pan into another … Recall Biden demanding Pres Trump invoke the DPA to get manufacturers & pharma to start work on ventilators & vaccines, even though in Joe’s old world it would take 4-ever years to see results; Trump ignored Joe, diplomatically twisted arms to get big business to see the profits in getting the job done in Operation Warp Speed Time … so that Joe could try & take the credit a year or two later. NOW, with escalating fuel & food costs, increasing delivery chain woes & never-ending dithering in the DC Swamp, does anyone think the DPA card is going to trump the real problems?
