Biden’s & EU’s Green Transition A Folly?

Ex-Trump adviser & Fox host Larry Kudlow not only called Biden’s & EU’s green energy policies a “failure” but explained how gaseous Putin “outsmarted” the gasless West as it rushes BACK to coal to keep its economies lit.

The US Supreme Court’s game-changing chastisement of the EPA (for overreaching its rule-making authority to force an end to fossil fuels) on Thursday aside, Mr. Kudlow does not mince words after the much-ballyhooed G-7 meeting concluded earlier in the week: It has “made at least one key point absolutely clear. Joe Biden’s so-called “energy transition” to renewable fuels is a complete failure; not just in the US, but now worldwide, globally, an utter failure.” Tell us why, Larry. “In Europe, the countries are talking renewables, but are reopening coal plants. That’s because they either can’t get enough Russian oil and gas supplies, or what they can get is too expensive, or both.” In other words, Austria, Germany, Italy & the Netherlands are pausing aka shoving aside their green strategies. “They made a transition alright, back to the worst carbon polluters…”

Enter Putin. “Most regrettably,” argued Kudlow, “the guy with a smile on his face is Vladimir Putin. The sanctions strategy has backfired on the US & NATO. Putin’s making money hand over fist. His ruble currency is at a pre-war high. It’s the pound and the Euro that have been sinking out of sight” while “Putin has found new customers [in] China and India.” Say it ain’t so, Joe?
