Biden's Grift & Joe’s Trumped Up Dump

Who’d a thunk? George Clooney wasn’t the only progressive loony to “wake up to the Biden Grift” as we’re told “a weak & deteriorating president suckered his own party with a high-risk bid for a second term.”

WSJ’s Holman Jenkins framed the Biden grift this way: “While shrieking about Trump’s unique awfulness, Biden’ re-election strategy [from the beginning] required giving Trump a better shot at returning to the White House than any he could have afforded himself.” In other words, Team Biden knew No. 46 was developing a Lincolnian “Permanent Case of the Slows” & needed a damaged Trump to run against on the theory he was the only Republican The Ancient could beat in 2024. As in all successful grifts like the classic one we saw Redford & Neuman pull off in “The Sting,” what was needed was the right pigeon with the right flaw to fund & otherwise go along with the counter-intuitive & risky strategy.

Not just Clooney, but the entire Hollywood crowd, as well as the Lib MSM & DC Swamp fell hook, line & sinker for the make-believe narrative thinking they’d be able to keep control over a doddering Joe Biden for “FOUR MORE YEARS” … that is, until their old horse took a public dump in the debate with Trump. Then, the Dem elites [Joe’s word] from Obama to Clinton to Pelosi to Schumer suddenly wanted to send their disgraced horse to the glue factory. Clooney, Jenkins noted, “has haunted the set of enough World War II movies to have already been prepped not to “let sentiment or friendship stand in the way” of firing an incompetent field commander. But, he added, “It would be unthinkable that a Democratic Party that was willing to fabricate evidence its opponent was a Russian pawn & was willing to prostitute the reputation of America’s intel services to paper over a Joe Biden scandal, wouldn’t be [also] willing to dump its presidential nominee while defeat was still avoidable.” The problem now becomes, who’s the chump getting dumped? Joe or George et al?
