Biden’s Inflation ‘Transitory’ Or 2 Buzz’s ‘Infinity’?

The WSJ’s “Inflation Stayed Above 5% Amid Supply-Chain Woes” backs Tucker Carlson’s warning “inflation is here to stay” & belies Biden’s Fed mouthpiece “transitory” take.

Bad news we all already knew: “Prices for groceries, gasoline & heating fuels rose along with the cost of new vehicles, rent & furniture.” Don’t forget soaring housing costs not reflected in the quoted stats. Good news: “Prices fell for used autos, airline fares & apparel” while “higher inflation will trigger a 5.9% increase for Social Security benefits … the largest in nearly 40 years.”

The chief inflationary culprit this time? “Pandemic-related shortages of labor & materials that continued to push up prices.” Mandated “health” measures & rising energy prices at the gas pump & on the tarmac “could also keep prices aloft.” Now, we’re told by the quoted experts the Fed’s “transitory” inflation forecast will likely last through the end of the year … “possibly” taking us, says Tucker, to Buzz Lightyear’s infinity & beyond.
