Biden’s “Lawless” Eviction Ban Brained By the Truth?

The WSJ railed against President “Biden’s Lawless Eviction Ban” & cites the “bulk” of legal scholars who agree it’s unconstitutional. Hell, even Joe himself admitted as much when he tried to explain his illegal gambit: “By the time it gets litigated, it will probably give some additional time while we’re getting that $45 billion out to people who are, in fact, behind in the rent & don’t have the money.”

Let’s give Mr. Biden an “A” for honesty & ignorance. As pointed out in yesterday’s post here, the illegal moratorium extension does NOT eliminate a single dollar the renters owe their landlords & simply keeps the tab running. But, to openly argue it’s ok to flaunt the U.S. Constitution is … what? True, President Lincoln essentially used the ruse when overlooking habeas corpus to fight 50% of the nation that was rebelling against the other 50%. But, Mr. Lincoln was faced with a real Armageddon, not an inevitable rental due date; and, Mr. Lincoln had the brains to explain he was fighting Armageddon, not an inevitable rental due date.

As the WSJ concluded, “many presidents have overstepped their authority, but this [by Biden] is premeditated lawlessness.” Maybe the real question is whether Mr. Biden has the brains, let alone the eyes & ears, to see & hear the truth?
