Not to worry? Fox News reports the Biden Administration’s “Operation Fly Formula” is sending millions of formula bottles to the US from overseas. Yet, most media commentators warn the foreign aid in reverse may help but won’t solve the months-long shortage. The President also finally conceded he wasn’t told about the looming crisis, even though industry execs had sent the WH dire warnings as early as February when the leading formula plant in the US was told by the FDA to recall its product over rumored health concerns. “Well, here’s the deal. I became aware of this problem some time in – after April – in early April, about how intense it was … And so, we did everything in our power from that point on, and that’s all I can tell you right now. And we’re going to do continue to do it until we get the job done.”

Yo, Joe, hopefully, someone has told you that key Abbott Nutrition’s Michigan production plant shut down in February and allowed to be re-opened only a couple of weeks ago by your “warp speed” reaction, was just shut down again thanks to a thunderstorm & subsequent flooding. NPR says it will be out of service for a “few weeks” more. Shades of Joe’s fickle Afghan fate?
