Biden Set To Get Macron’s Voter Revolt?

Don’t think the WH’s blind guides haven’t awoken to French President Macron’s lost grip on Parliament thanks to an insane spike in already high energy prices. Is the Frog’s election defeat another sign for Uncle Tortoise?

As we know, President Biden was SLOW in noticing the inflationary effect of his War on Fossil Fuels, and, like Mr. Macron, got caught with his pants down on the Ukraine War’s making matters worse still. The WSJ focuses on France’s electoral grief now being visited on all European leaders, not just those in France. But, how about the upcoming U.S. mid-term elections in November and the Democratic Party’s already thin grip on Congress? It sure looks increasingly likely, i.e., if the EU result is a reliable harbinger. As the newspaper noted, “Mr. Macron’s party lost dozens of seats in the National Assembly to candidates backed by far-left firebrand Jean-Luc Melenchon and far-right Marine Le Pen. Both politicians seized on record-level inflation to portray Mr. Macron as a leader who paid more attention to his role on the diplomatic stage, dealing with the war in Ukraine, than to voters struggling to make ends meet.”

So, if Biden doesn’t see this EU handwriting on the wall … & shows immediate results in fighting inflation here … won’t he continue to be the guy who’s “been wrong on every major national security policy decision for 40 years going on 50?
