Biden SOU Is Face & Voice Of Unity Or House Divided?

Trying as Dickens to talk unity & ignore reality, 'ol Biden’s SOU offered no "reset" on failed policies & was weighed down by divisions in his own party. Mr. Biden's saucy Ragu explaining away an avoidable war in Ukraine & ignoring solutions to raging crime, record inflation & a porous border was followed by TWO Dem "responses", including by radical Tlaib. Huh?

“In times of crisis, we should all stand by our president,” Rep. Filemon Vela of Texas told Axios about Tlaib's attempt to set the record straight for No. 46 & the nation she doesn't seem able to stand. “It is astonishing that the radical left continues to promote a Democratic death wish, and sees no problem relegating our party to the permanent minority.” Said lib pundit Bill Maher, Tlaib’s unwanted blocking for Joe is more “like sacking your own quarterback.”

But, enough of TLAIB. Mr. Biden was clearly bedazzled by what he sees as his successful military & economic story, despite obvious chaos spreading globally in his failed defense, energy & economic policies’ wake. He especially argued Russia blew it by invading Ukraine despite his visionary verbal warnings (& forgetting his Afghanistan withdrawal fiasco). “Putin was wrong … we were ready to make him pay.” True, the West is belatedly rallying with sanctions & other punitive measures. But, Russia’s enabling energy sector is still largely unaffected. And, Ukraine’s Pres Zelensky had begged for weapons & military assistance, not an “I told you so” sanctions bill sent to the Kremlin that did not stop the slaughter now going on.
