Bolting Soros’ Hispanic Media Takeover

How many Hispanics will be fooled by Soros’ hostile takeover of a popular conservative Spanish radio station as another of its stars bolts to a new “alt news” start up?

Fox News reports Dania Alexandrino told Radio Mambi she was leaving the Miami based outlet ahead of a planned takeover by a George Soros-linked liberal group, as did host Lourdes Ubieta earlier. Both will be working at Americano Media, a recently launched conservative news organization “that has been aggressively pursuing Radio Mambi personalities who refuse to work for the Soros-backed group.”

Fox suggests the Soros group’s takeover of Radio Mambi, btw, is just part of a larger move to influence Hispanic voters: “Latino Media Network, a new network set to be made up of 18 Hispanic radio stations currently owned by Univision, including Radio Mambi, was partially financed by Lakestar Finance, an investment group affiliated with Soros Fund Management.” Concluded Alexandrino in assessing such “direct or indirect” moves by Soros: “My principles, my values will not allow me to take any money from a man … who only searches and seeks the destruction of America … Why are they so afraid of people having a [conservative] option if they’re so confident their platform is what Hispanics want to follow? Because they can’t convince them, because people have decided they’re tired and fed up being utilized.” Yet, Alexandriono concedes not all “older Cuban exiles who have relied on her former station will be able to jump to her new Americana option, many being without cell phones or online internet service.
