Bongino Bashes Disney Oligarchs Ike Warn Us About

Bongino asks if US is “turning into an oligarchy” pitting the “haves against the have nots,” but IKE told us after WWII the “military industrial complex” was running things. Dan, you must have heard of today’s “military industrial academia media tech Hollywood complex”…

As Ike said as plainly as if Truman, “The War to End All Wars” did more than pretend to end all wars, it unleased on America multiple forces in those broad communities that have been working under a variety of catchy banners like “change is good,” “globalization” & “Green New Deal.” In some ways they are AMENABLE & in other ways DESIGNED to grab & maintain power in the hands of a few “elites” centered on the two coasts (& in a couple of midwestern “stop over” cities).

How do we know, if the obvious way our society is working isn’t enough? It was in my political science college classes during the 1960s post-Ike era that we learned from study after study how the Ivy League schools & a handful of other elite universities like Michigan, Chicago & Stanford had alums already DOMINATING the state department & DOJ as well as Defense Department. And, over the post-Viet Nam years, this elitist dynamic expanded to include the Am Law 100 law firms, Big 4 accounting firms & Fortune 500 companies, especially those feeding off the gravy train offered by Ike’s worst nightmare. Then, came the silent if hostile takeover of the MSM, academia & our intelligence agencies while Hollywood, too, was for sale. So, Dan, to help prove your point, tell folks to just drive around DC’s Foggy Bottom & the surrounding richer than rich neighborhoods like Foxhall to see where many got rocks oligarchs live. It’s as (un)real as Disney.
