Just before the Dems took control of the Senate, Fox’s most straight-shooting commentator, Tucker Carlson, asked, “Where has the GOP been”? The answer, of course, was “the Party has had it’s head up it’s rear end for years,” playing spin the bottle with its increasingly radicalized opponents who ran procedural rings around them. They played along with early voting, ballot harvesting, then, en masse mail in voting and, hello…

Da? In coaching sports teams, the winners intuitively understand how critical it is NEVER to let a game be decided by an umpire’s or referee’s call, especially in the 9th inning or final seconds. And, of course, the same wisdom holds true in politics. Yet, in recent days we witnessed the spectacle of die hard GOPers scrambling in the courts and, then, before Congress hoping for a last minute Hail Mary to reverse the 2020 presidential election’s “fake” results.

Stolen? Hoodwinked? Published Rules Changes Slight of Hand? Only Dems can read & text one another? Yet, wasn’t it Jesus, then, Lincoln who warned about the dangers in playing games with an adversary until they take YOU to court and the judge strips you naked?
