Can California Pedophiles Be Cured?

California reportedly has released thousands of pedophiles less than a year after being convicted of the outrage against children. And, ain’t recidivism especially bad for these offenders, meaning, still more victims?

“Statistics clearly show that pedophiles don’t get reformed,” former LA sex crime prosecutor Sam Dordulian told the Daily Mail. “They’re going to come out and they’re going to commit again.” According to California’s Megan’s Law website, the Daily Mail concluded, more than 7,000 sex offenders convicted of “lewd or lascivious acts with a child under 14 years of age” were released from prison in under a year of being convicted.

Don’t know about the “incurability” argument. But, does common sense suggests, as Dordulian insists, that “letting these people out early [allows] for a lot more victimization. And, that’s terrifying.”
