Can’t Wait 4 Fauci’s Omicron BA.5 Shot?

Dr. Tony Fauci now admits Trump’s Covid vaccines “don’t protect overly well” vs Omicron BA.5 virus strain racing across US & EU, yet the career bureaucrat doesn’t call for another “Operation Warp Speed.” And, where’s Old Joe's "plan"?

As Fox News’ Liz Peek argued, “Biden is asleep at the switch as Americans lack defense against the Covid-19 resurgence” that any child could have seen coming. Of course, the shots available today thanks, in part, to Trump’s pushing the vaccine button against all odds are losing their steam as the virus keeps mutating … as it did almost from the get-go TWO YEARS AGO. As Ms. Peek notes, “Omicron BA.5 is the new threat, one that some consider ‘the most dangerous yet’ as it is not only highly contagious but also adept at evading antibodies gained from earlier infections or vaccines.”

On the other hand, as Dr. Fauci disingenuously explained on Fox’s “Your World” in an effort to ease “confused” peoples’ minds, he “feels confident” that, while those earlier Trumpian Covid shots may not keep folks from getting reinfected, they will likely reduce the severity of the later infection as well as hospitalizations. Great, if clear as mud. So, doctor, forget your lockdowns, but when can we expect an “Omicron BA.5” vaccine?
