Can UK Transphobic Rowe Happen Here?

UK parents win in court & forced gov’t to alter its gender “guidelines” for kids after school labeled them & 6-yr-old son “transphobic” for questioning the policy. Parallel battles in US schools over woke gender mania next?

Nigel & Sally Rowe told Fox News how they first raised concerns with their son’s Wight primary school after he came home one day “confused” by the school’s transgender-affirming policies toward his male classmates who identified as girls. Apparently, one of the 6-yr-old classmates after hearing the school’s spiel on gender transitioning decided he wanted to transition from boy to girl. The supposedly good news was announced to all the kids during “in circle time.” But, having heard of this for the first time, the Rowe’s objected. Without any consultation, the parents got a letter from the school accusing them and their young son of potential “transphobic behavior.” They were further warned of being labelled “transphobic” in the future if they did not recognize a child can change his gender by raising his hand or if the son kept refusing to use the “correct pronouns” or didn’t recognize self-transitioned classmates as “a little boy” or “little girl.”

Sued with the help of the London-based Christian Legal Center, the school & government policy changed their tune & “settled”. Jonathan Butcher, a Heritage Foundation fellow, told Fox he sees parallels in the battle the Rowes fought in UK & the one many parents are now fighting over gender ideology in US schools. “This case helped raise awareness about the political indoctrination – and worse, harmful & irreversible health outcomes – that come from affirming so-called “gender” transitions among minor children,” he added.
