Carpe Pollo Joe Misses JFK’s Pig Moment?

WSJ made a (un)remarkable suggestion to Biden: Expose the Chinese Spy Fleet’s global spying campaign. It’s Joe’s JFK moment he used to overcome Bay of Pigs blunder. But will 46 also have gut & brains to carpe diem & make us forget Afghan fiasco?

Mr. Biden’s reluctance to call out China for the Covid pandemic’s origins, let alone the repeated invasions of our air space over military installations, is getting stranger by the minute. No less so after Joe took out a $200K line of credit just before a GOP congressional cte formally demanded son Hunter & brother James turn over any documents that might suggest their world-wide influence peddling based on Mr. Biden’s Senate, VP & POTUS elected posts, especially with Ukraine & China. Lawyering up, Joe? The Defense Dept now says it’s “confident this latest balloon was launched to get a close-up peek at America’s ‘strategic sites,’ perhaps including intercontinental ballistic-missile bases in Montana.” And, yet, the editors note, Joe never brought the balloon up in his State of the Union speech. Huh? Why would the Reds caught red-handed be let off the hook so obviously? Couldn’t the balloon have been shot down soon after entering US airspace & any SECRETS SENT BACK TO CHINA (as Pentagon now fears) have been forestalled?

As the editorial board rightly recalls, “An instructive if less threatening precedent here is the 1962 Cuban missile crisis, when American U-2 spy planes captured photos of an enormous Soviet nuclear missile buildup 90 miles from Florida. The Kennedy Administration brain trust debated whether to inform the public or keep it quiet. The White House decided to show the world the threat and the US presented photographic proof of the missiles at a confrontation with the Soviets at the UN. It helped to sway global opinion.” Alas, is Joe up to the job?
