Chicago A “Death Zone” As Christmas Moon Turns Red

If you want to know what “all hell breaking lose” looks like consider a Chicago 911 dispatcher’s description of daily violence in the Windy City & how its “egotistical” Mayor Lightfoot has “blood on her hands” while trying to dance around the reality by blaming first responders she underfunded.

As Dispatcher Keith Thornton told Fox News strictly “as a concerned citizen”, a “massive” crime wave has overtaken “all parts of the city” at “all hours of the day” while its “gutted” police, firemen & dispatchers are overwhelmed. It’s true Mayor Lightfoot recently asked President Biden & AG Garland for “help,” but only after many needlessly died. Under the Trump Administration, it was noted, federal help was mockingly rejected at first by the mayor (although some FBI investigative assistance was eventually accepted).

“What’s horrible is the lack of leadership … throughout this entire city,” Thornton argued, and it’s ridiculous because it does not have to be this way … This is not a black problem, a white problem, a Democratic problem, a Republican problem, a Latino problem, this is an all-hands-on-deck problem and everyone in Chicago should be fueled up.” Fox notes that Thornton’s recent Facebook video when viral after calling the city a “death zone” where police themselves are “scared” to go on patrol alone. Over the Christmas weekend, the moon overhead seemed to again turn a shade of blood red as 2 more people were killed and 23 wounded in city shootings.
