Chicagoans Can’t Handle Naked Truth?
Wonders never cease as even a Chicago Machine committee voted against a supposed social justice reform ordinance that would have restricted police raids & despite a nakedly botched 2019 operation …
As Fox News reported, “Police [had] raided Anjanette Young’s home by mistake … Officers handcuffed Young naked and allegedly would not let her cover herself up while they searched her home.” Yet, the Chicago Public Safety Committee voted 10-4 recently against a proposal to ban no-knock warrants and giving residents 30 seconds to answer the door when officers approach a home; in addition, “informants” would no longer have been useable for purposes of obtaining a search warrant.
What? Did the Black Stone P Nation gangbangers draft this ordinance named after “Young” herself who, btw, got a $2.9 million settlement for her embarrassment, one that could easily have been avoided. Apparently, a majority of aldermen & women saw how much damage could be done to police & their investigation, as well as the community, if potential drug dealers or human traffickers were given a New York Minute … perhaps to flush the toilet or scoot out a window onto a fire escape … before answering the door.
