Chuck Schumer’s Petty Election Denial

What a difference an election makes. Dems raged over GOP “deniers” in 2020, but are now often “deniers” after Trump landslide as they hire lawyers to challenge the purity of votes cast, especially in Pennsylvania where Dems' outgoing Senate Majority Ldr won’t recognize GOP Senator elect.

Who woulda’ thunk? First, we heard from Fox News that the Chuck Schumer wouldn’t let Pa’s new senator attend the usual briefing session for incomers & now we know why: As the WSJ reports, Democratic mouthpiece Marc Elias has been rehired “and trying to steal a Senate seat” for the party. Never mind that the Associated Press & most other media have called the Senate race in Pa for Republican Dave McCormick. But never fear, Democrats, lawyer Marc Elias is on the case trying to steal the seat” for the incumbent. “Did someone say ‘election denial?’”

Sour grapes Casey & Schumer are hoping for a legal Hail Mary, “despite trailing by some 40,000 votes” while the “specialist who excavate controversial ballots for Democrats … has [unilaterally] declared on X that the race isn’t over.” Apparently, some 87,000 provisional ballots still need to be counted & while 30,000 are from Dem strongholds, the rest come from GOP counterparts, so it would take a run the table kind of landslide for Casey to still win. Perhaps more to the point, the editorial board opines, Schumer took the petty road by barring McCormick from attending those supposedly bipartisan orientation sessions for new senators. The editors say they “assume Republicans will call him out for his election denialism … We also await the [MSM’s] outraged editorials denouncing this threat to democracy.”
