Climate Czar Kerry Winks At Jet Travel To Get Buzz

President Biden’s Climate Czar recently told energy workers who would lose their jobs under his Green New Deal plans to, well, find (another) job. That didn’t sit too well with oil, coal & gas workers in energy dependent states, especially those in their middle age & not keen on going back to the classroom to learn new age jargon.

But, remember this is the same Mr. Kerry who told a reporter in 2019 the reason he keeps polluting our air with his private jets is because “it’s the only choice for somebody like me who is traveling the world to win this battle.” Actually, Kerry made the remarkable remark after jetting to Iceland for an environmental “leadership” award.

It was Icelandic reporter Johann Kolbeinsson who had confronted Kerry about the jet travel. After rambling about how he’s roamed the world by jet to make many deals like the Paris Climate Accord & suggesting his work will reduce gads of carbon emissions in the future, Kerry winced that patented Kerry wince & concluded, “I’m not going to be put on the defensive.” Yo, Mr. Kerry, why not just admit most jet travel & other forms of carbon-based activities, while they may pollute & need to be reduced, are essential in fueling the global economy that’s eradicating the world’s poverty faster than your Paris Accord? Or, how about answering Johann’s question. How was jetting to Iceland to get an award going to “win the battle”? And, how was jetting “the only choice for someone” like YOU. How about staying home like us ecologically responsible citizens who forgo jet travel whenever possible, then, ask the Icelanders to Fed Ex the award? Or, wink-wink, maybe send in a taped acceptance speech that features your wince to show how tough you’ve got it?
