Could Loveless Victim Lucifer Use Lesson From Paul On Spirit Of Dad’s True Love?

Do you agree that Lucifer is a victim of his Dad’s unjust punishment? And, is it true, that like George Washington, the devil “cannot tell a lie”? One more kicker: Lucifer is “tired of being blamed for other peoples’ wrong doing”? If you can get your head around all that, then, you have found your home in Hollywood’s cancel culture hell. And, you can’t get enough of watching the serial killings in a show titled by the namesake.

To give the devil his credit, “Lucifer” on Netflix does have an interesting side in suggesting even demons can be redeemed, well, maybe reformed. Indeed, what if God’s Grace was available even to a penitent albeit Ass of the Ages? And, ok, as a garden variety “who done it,” Lucifer is passable if no Sherlock. Unfortunately, at the bottom of the pit, there’s that fatal flaw in “Lucifer” in which taking personal responsibility for the Gift of Free Will is nothing more than an ongoing cheap joke, a reflection (or parody?) of our “victimization” culture. Lucifer never stops whimpering about Dad’s “plan” he doesn’t like ala the “devil made me do it” mantra of the radical leftists & rightists we see today. Little wonder Lucifer’s “mom” (huh?) is a lawyer hell bent on blaming, then, suing everybody for the family’s sorrows.

Wouldn’t it be refreshing to see Hollywood come up with a series called “Paul”? You know, by playing off the guy who persecuted the early Christians until called to account by The Father, then, took responsibility for his ugly lies? In such a who done it, we’d see wayward souls reconciled to Dad each week. We’d also be shown how He loved us all so much, even the worst wretches among us, that He gave us His Son, a part of Himself really, to die on the Cross in forgiveness. In such a show, Paul would remind the week’s victim that the gift of Life was never enough for Dad. Nor was the gift of Free Will. No, in such a script, the gift of Communion with Dad in all things, especially our sorrows, may be the ultimate gift of love.
