Cruz Election Missile Nukes Woke Coke Exec

Republicans have long accused Minorities of being the proverbial fool for giving hard-earned money to their fake friends at the DNC. Might the flip-side be GOPers foolishly taking cash from their fake friends in Corporate America in return for pro-business legislation? No mas, says Ted Cruz.

In a WSJ editorial, the Texas Senator told progressive CEOs “Your Woke [“influence”] Money Is No[longer] Good Here”, i.e, in his campaign coffers. It’s about time somebody in the Grand Old Party had the smarts as well as guts to declare: “Corporations have taken advantage of Republicans for too long. I won’t take their PAC dollars anymore.”

What got Senator Cruz steamed, the proverbial “last straw,” was execs at Georgia-based corporate giants, like Coca-Cola and Delta Airlines, campaigning against the new state’s election law that arguably EXPANDS mail in & early voting, two “innovations” that helped Joe Biden get elected in 2020. The law also mentions something about proving you aren’t dead as you would to fill out a job application at Coke or Delta. Whatever. Noted, Cruz, the executives apparently haven’t bothered to read it “because so much of what they said about it was nonsense.” Better woke than never?
