Da Losing Dems Don’t Get Der Garbage

One of the biggest take aways from Trump’s historic comeback victory is that it was because fearmongering Democrats & their trash-talking MSM propagandists couldn’t believe most Americans are smarter than they.

Wasn’t it the first Republican POTUS, Abraham Lincoln, who once waxed, “you can fool some of the people some of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time”? Of course. And yet, podcaster & political commentator Dave Portnoy suggested shortly after Fox News declared Trump No. 47-elect that a majority of Americans were fed up with being dissed as well as being pissed on by the underperforming & underachieving Swamp’s progressives who had been calling the shots these past four years: “If you say you’re voting for Trump, suddenly you’re a Nazi, you’re Hitler, you’re garbage. Enough. Enough.”

The term “landslide” should be used conservatively (pun intended), but a number of GOP pols & pundits were using it Wednesday morning as the electoral as well as popular votes being tabulated seemed to justify its use. Said Portnoy: Trump “didn’t just win. He won for fun. He won the electoral, he won the popular vote. He got more votes than he did last time … Just a total ringing endorsement for the Republicans & Donald Trump and an indictment against the Democrats.” Portnoy noted it didn’t necessarily have to turn out that way, except the Democrats “chose” to insult independents and other voters: “The Democrats gave us no choice,” he said. “That was the worst campaign … [their] pure arrogance & moral superiority [drove] people away … [They] alienated all these middle ground people by acting like [they’re] better than us, smarter than us, and frankly, insulting our intelligence.”
