DC Trick 2 Homeless Immigrants In Details?

DC Mayor Bowser now concedes illegal immigrants are crowding her homeless shelters, suggesting asylum seekers are “tricked” by Tex Gov onto buses with promise of American Dream in Bow Wow’s Swamp.

At least, so said Mayor Bowser on CBS’ “Face the Nation” when asked about a Washington Post story sort of saying the capital’s homeless shelters are now filling up with illegal immigrants from Texas & Arizona. You might recall, Texas Gov. Abbott has been especially aggressive in keeping good his promise of sending other countries’ asylum seekers crossing Mexico into his state to the wanna-be “51st State” instead.

Said Governor, er, Mayor Bowser: “Well, this is a very significant issue. We have for sure called on the federal government to work across state lines to prevent people from really being tricked into getting on buses. We think they’re largely asylum seekers who are going to final destinations that are not Washington, DC.” But, why not DC? What’s wrong with Bowser’s Sweet Home DC as a destination for those simply crossing the border without prior permission? As for the once pro-immigrant progressive leader’s “trick” argument, does it take one to know one?
