Decoding Omicron Panic Takes A Swamp If Not Village

When MSM pundits like WSJ’ Jenkins & Fox’s Tucker mock the latest COVID variant aka Omicron WHO named after the Greeks’ Armageddon, you know people are really starting to listen to the SCIENCE rather than DC’s “panic” politicians like Fauci & Biden.

It’s not that the two seers aren’t taking the Omicron threat seriously, but that they are wisely, coolly, calmly pointing out the variant’s emergence was EXPECTED (as will many more COVID mutations) and likely, hopefully, will follow the historically less worrisome, ever-weakening path followed by its influenza cousin suggesting viruses seem to realize the more people they kill the more they kill themselves. As Tucker noted, THAT is the early reports coming out of Africa where Omicron started: “Two people reportedly may have died from the Omicron variant in Botswana, a landlocked country … the size of France …” but many more people there died yesterday of “malaria, AIDS, diarrhea, drowning car crashes, choking on peanuts, domestic disputes, agricultural accidents & also just because in the end human beings tend to get old & die.” In his “Decoding the Omicron Panic,” Jenkins noted “Covid overkill [e.g., draconian policies designed to protect low risk populations rather than high risk folks] is bad for everybody except the politicians.” Meanwhile, the WSJ’s editorial board warned about yet another Biden-Fauci lockdown “cure” that’s “worse than the disease.”

Message received & understood here. But, in the DC Swamp, blue state governor mansions & villages, er, big city halls everywhere else, it’s likely to be another case of the blind leading the blind.
