Abrams, who argued without evidence that her 2018 election loss to Kemp was illegitimate, was rejected by the voters of Georgia by a wider margin in the 2022 rematch.”

As The Atlantic noted, O’Rourke & Abrams are widely considered “superstar losers,” rather than ABBA-like Super Troupers, for being “among the country’s best-known political figures” who “have become so well-known not by winning big elections but by losing them.” They are also superstar spenders of other peoples’ money. O’Rourke’s latest campaign reportedly exceeding $75 million & US News & World Report says Abrams raised $85 million for her race.
