WSJ’s Kim Strassel suggests progressives have shot themselves in the foot by demanding lib Justice Stephen Breyer retire. “Efforts to bully him into retirement may end up having the opposite effect,” she notes. Apparently most infuriating to the radical Dems is Breyer’s hiring of 4 new law clerks for next year & as if to say, “up yours, I’ll retire when I feel like it.”

We’ll get to the progressive angst as expressed in the left-leaning MSM. But, first, let’s cut the crap ourselves & say what they obviously fear most: Another voter rebellion is in the works in 2022 & 2024 over the progressives’ naïve policies under Biden’s watch; if so, the Dems will surely lose their current control over Congress & the next Justice to be appointed.

Sen. Blumenthal chiding Justice Breyer over the ‘political dangers of waiting.” Ah so, the Justice reminds them, the Constitution’s three independent levels of government & system of checks can be a bitch.
