DeSantis Boots Soros’ Man In Tampa
Fla Gov DeSantis suspends Tampa’s Soros-backed prosecutor who refused to enforce whole “categories” of state law after SF booted its soft-on crime DA & LA moves against its above the law meathead. Hallejulah!
As the WSJ editorial board noted, “what’s making the headlines is [Andrew] Warren’s stance on abortion and transgender issues. Mr. DeSantis’s order cites a June letter Mr. Warren signed, along with Boudin & Gascon, in which they & other [local] prosecutors promised to ‘decline to use our offices’ resources to criminalize reproductive health decisions.’’ The letter continues: “Our legislatures may decide to criminalize personal healthcare decisions, but WE remain obligated to prosecute only those cases that serve the interest of justice.”
How’s Dems’ apples? The WSJ marveled: “So, THEY get to nullify the laws duly passed by a state legislature?” As Gov. DeSantis explained, “To take a position that you have veto power over the laws of this state is untenable.” Frankly, Gov, that’s putting it mildly. As the WSJ concluded: “It’s an abuse of discretion.” Yet, wasn’t the precedent “set” by President Obama repeatedly implementing HIS idea of the law with his “phone and pen”, President Trump going overboard at times on the open border he wanted closed HIS way, and President Biden reacting to the long-overdue overruling of Roe v Wade by pretending HE knows more about the US Constitution than the majority of Justices?
