Desperate Minorities Turning 2 GOP?

As GOP gains support from Black & Latino voters, most political experts now predict GOP will take House in mid-terms while Senate still a toss-up. Any wonder desperate Dems turn to Obama, Oprah & Colbert to “excite” base?

The so-called experts have been wrong too many times in recent years, so we’ll take their latest outcome calls with the grain of salt they deserve. One thing is sure: TURNOUT is going to be critical once again & perhaps more so than ever if the WSJ’s take on minorities’ switching from Dem to GOP this time around. Concludes the paper with an appropriate hedge: “Republicans appear to be in a better position with both groups heading into the midterms than they were in 2020 or 2018.” Apparently, 50 years of Dem-(mis)management of their increasingly miserable cities has had something to do with the shift in political loyalty. So has a radicalized experimentation with social justice programs that seem to make the streets less safe & a socialist economic plan that has sent food, gas & home prices soaring. But, of course, we’ll see who shows up to vote on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Fox News couldn’t help but notice how CBS’s “Stephen Colbert hosts dozens of Democrats, Biden officials [this year alone] as he tries to boost party in midterms.” For instance, Nany Pelosi, Liz Warren, Bernie Sanders, Pete Buttigieg & Tony Fauci have taken turns on “The Late Show” stage to bash their political opponents & hawk their progressive agendas. It seems the worse the polling numbers get, amongst independents as well as minorities, the more the “celebrity” card is played. We’ll see how “entertaining” the follow up guests are on November 9.
