Don’t Say Gas Stove Ban? Ban Ban Ban

Their denials notwithstanding, the Green Purple Eaters ARE coming after your gas stoves, insists the WSJ, as actions speak louder than words. Think, it says, how progressive cities & states already dug gaseous graves.

Explained the editors: “Progressive cities such as Berkeley, San Francisco & New York [now] ban gas stoves & other [gas] appliances in new buildings. New York Gov. Kathy Hochul [recently] proposed a ban on gas equipment including stoves in new small buildings in 2025 & larger ones in 2028. Come 2030, New Yorkers won’t be allowed to replace their gas stoves with new ones if they break down … This is how the left’s green-energy ‘transition’ will work for all things. Come 2035, New Yorkers & Californians won’t be able to buy new gasoline-powered cars either.”

So, is it any wonder anyone would be cynical of the damage control campaign launched by the WH & its MSM allies after a high-ranking bureaucrat bragged about considering a ban on gas stoves? And, if an outright ban won’t fly politically, maybe make the “safety regulations” so rigorous as to make gas appliances unaffordable?
