Extremists & Kooks Notch Win Over Extremists & Kooks

The WSJ recently gave kudos to House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy for showing true leadership & not being the commie witch hunter with the same last name. It was Mr. McCarthy who showed the guts to successfully defend Wyo. Rep. Liz Cheney in her leadership role after having voted with House Dems to impeach President Trump.

Explained the editors: This was “one of the year’s biggest victories” because it sent a needed message that the party “remains a big tent and isn’t going to grant or revoke membership purely on fealty to one politician, Donald Trump. Just as important, it was the party stomping on the new Democratic and media strategy to cast the entire GOP as extremists and kooks.” Agreed. Talk about the extremist kettle calling the pot a kook.

The WSJ turned the tables by also noting “the press’s disappointment with the outcome…even as it did its best to keep the headlines flowing” as USA Today for some reason insisted the GOP’s civil war is “no where near over.” The biased in the fake MSM better not hold their breath. The editors concluded: “The left’s strategy is to stoke GOP division, to keep it in the headlines, and to hobble the party’s efforts to block radical Democratic policies. Fortunately, Republicans are belatedly cottoning on…The GOP still has a long way to go to unify after its November loss. But…it passed a first, big test” thanks to Rep. McCarthy.
