Fed Can’t Tell A Lie: Prosperity Is Right Around Corner

Is the leadership malaise in Afghan Biden’s DC Swamp metastasizing into the economy as recent WSJ articles warn of inflation, grocery shortages & weak employment numbers?

In its “Why You Can’t Find Everything You Want at Grocery Stores,” the paper notes “labor shortages, raw materials’ scarcity make supermarket supplies unpredictable; some executives say problems are worse than spring 2020’s dearth.” Meanwhile, even the “What Problem?” White House “More Than Doubled Its Inflation Forecast” as supply chain disruptions & Covid pandemic counter measures “continue to put upward pressure on prices.” And, oh, there were yet more “disappointing” jobs reports for August, although leftist economists saw “positive” signs in the latest downward tick in new unemployment insurance claims; someone please tell them the federal $300 supplemental income payments for non-working people expired & ask “so what did you think was going to happen?”

The good news is that Fed Chairman Jerome Powell still insists the bad economic news is “transitory” and prosperity is right around the corner, i.e., things will perk up enough to record a big annual “growth” rate in the end. The bad news is that Powell is part of the Swamp that never tells a lie and is always right.
