Fetterman Brains Warren, Sanders & Luigi
Senators Sanders & Warren again showed the left’s moral bankruptcy by suggesting Luigi Mangione’s alleged murder of insurance CEO was “understandable.” Brained colleague Fetterman scolded: “He’s the a** who is going to die in prison.”
The Senator’s full court scolding for empathizing with the “vile” act appeared in the same HuffPost story that had first quoted the two stooges. He continued: “Congratulations if you want to celebrate that. A sewer is going to sewer.” The WSJ’s editorial board’s response to Warren’s & Sanders’ appearing to rationalize if not decriminalize murder was just as scathing: The two leftist senators, they wrote, are “factually wrong & morally benighted. We don’t know if Mr. Mangione was denied care or even what his specific healthcare complaint was, apart from a general loathing for the system. Perhaps he blames health providers for his back pain, but that isn’t an explanation for murder. Murder can’t be rationalized & a society does so at its peril. This is why a healthy society establishes laws & guardrails against killing the innocent that should never be crossed. Shooting a healthcare executive in the back is not a ‘warning’ of anything other than the illness or evil of one young man. And sympathy for it is a sign of the degraded state of our culture & politics.”
Not surprisingly, the editors also called out Fetterman’s response to the assassination as the “right” one. The Senator had gone one to say, “If you gun someone down that you don’t happen to agree with their views or the business they’re in, hey, you know, I’m next, they’re next. And people want to celebrate it. It’s twisted.”
