Fetterman’s Bidenesque Debate Debacle

WSJ’s “John Fetterman: The Midterms’ October Surprise” is misleading. Flip-flopping US Senate candidate has long been on record as extreme Green New Deal Advocate AND Bidenesque mumbling was expected in only debate.

President Biden was heard saying how “impressive” he is in talking to Mr. Fetterman without opining on whether he can articulate as well as himself. Still, columnist Dan Henninger makes point that “by withholding crucial information about his health, [Mr. Fetterman] has likely ensured a GOP Senate win in Pennsylvania.” The Democratic wanna-be’s excuse that the Biden dummy cards aka “closed caption” lines to help him in televised debate with GOP’s Wizard of Oz were botched by presenters, won’t scowl. As Henninger reminds, “no one watching this debate could have been unmoved by Mr. Fetterman’s struggle to articulate his views.” Yet, “the answer on display Tuesday evening is that Mr. Fetterman’s recovery is so poor that it’s now likely to be the primary factor in the outcome of this race.”

One other good insight from Henninger: “One thing the debate made starkly clear is the awful consequences of super-early voting laws. More than a half million people in Pennsylvania [had] voted already. Second thoughts? Forget it.”
