Foreign Rats Rewarded By US & IMF Swamp Rats?

The WSJ op ed “Special Dollars for Dictators” called out the U.S. support for the IMF’s slush fund doling out loans to foreign Creepos, yet where do the editors think the globalist bankers are headquartered? Oh, 1900 Pennsylvania Avenue NW in the Swamp’s heartland.

What a shock. Still asks the WSJ’s editorial board: “More than 250 people have been killed by government security forces in Myanmar since a Feb. 1 military coup. The Biden Administration has imposed sanctions, but then why is the U.S. Treasury moving to hand the Burmese generals a fresh $785 million in foreign aid? The answer is the International Monetary Fund’s plan to issue a new allocation of ‘special drawing rights’”

The SDRs are apparently printed at the IMF, distributed to member countries supposedly to help "the poor" but regardless of human rights violations, including those happening in Myanmar. Then, voila, the SDRs are exchangeable for dollars that the U.S. is “obliged” to honor, even if used to buy comquats or bazookas. According to the WSJ, Treasury Sec. Yellen is trying to skirt existing law that might keep the real power of this purse & distribution of its “funny money” in Congress’s hands, not unelected bureaucrats. Really, Joe? Congress, can you for once not let Swamp Rats take Constitutional power away from your own grubby little hands?
