Garland Throws Cow Chips At Catholics?

Is the amazing if not alarming thing about AG Garland’s testimony before Congress this week focusing on alleged anti-Catholic bias at Justice ... his inability to acknowledge leftist radicals CAN exist in DOJ’s & FBI’s ranks?

Garland keeps insisting his agency NEVER plays political favorites, while saying he didn’t know how many FBI sources have been embedded in Catholic churches on the pretext of uncovering radical pro-lifers before they supposedly strike abortion clinics. Nor was he sure why 15-25 FBI Swat Team members raided a pro-life family’s home with assault rifles locked & loaded when there did not seem to be a shred of evidence anyone or thing was in imminent danger of being bombed by the suspect who was at home with wife and kids. All he would say to an incredulous Senator Hawley was that “the decision was made on the ground” by the agents who had sunk to such a low level. Repeatedly, Sen. Hawley also tried to get a “simple yes or no” answer about the alleged targeting of conservatives but not liberals, but likewise got nowhere. On the specific Q “why are pro-life demonstrators outside abortion clinics commonly arrested & many prosecuted" but not so much the pro-abortion demonstrators hounding anti-abortion churches, Garland feebly explained maybe it was because it was easier to gather evidence against pro-lifers since they do most of their demonstrating against abortion clinics in broad daylight while the attacks on pro-life pregnancy centers tend to be done “at night.”

Dunno. A simple “I’m working on getting liberal as well as conservative nut cases out of Justice” could have satisfied Sen. Hawley … and Catholic America.
