Global Guru Greta Thunders At COP26 ‘Blah, Blah, Blah’

Despite an 11th hour face-saving “agreement” to try harder, even Greta Thunberg derided COP26’s 26th climate accord as so much “Blah, blah, blah.” A shocked CBS also bemoaned the “failed, false hope” climate summit for a lack of “major objectives being achieved.”

Meanwhile, Biden’s “Climate Czar,” John Kerry was forced to defend India’s demand the final wording of whatever was signed be as mealy mouthed as possible. Apparently, the public trying to make sense out of this needs to “follow the money” since it came down to the “rich” countries refusing to toss more money (i.e., more than $100B) at the “poor” countries to compensate, NOT BRIBE, them for not using fossil fuels & the environmental damage they can cause.

Maybe COP27 could cut away from this endless stalemate that’s lasted longer than the Afghanistan War & turn to solving the global-wide pollution of our waterways & oceans? The goal wouldn’t be as sexy as fantasizing about controlling the weather, but at least the results for the billions of dollars spent would be immediate & tangible. Jus’ sayin’.
